Anyway, I might not be the quickest dog you've got and I'd bet my soul on the fact you think I'm a failure on the fact I can't walk in a straight line, but I've got jaws like a frockin' clamp and I know exactly how you hurt someone, got it? My dad did this kind of shit for a living and some of it rubbed off on me. I'm loyal and need a job to do, and I'm not one of those dogs that can just shit around and not go insane. I'm young and a little inexperienced but when I set myself to something I'm driven enough to get it right--speaking on that, I love getting things right and I like the feel of finality, you know what I mean? And "death" is as final as it gets. I do jobs and I do them well, too."

"I'd love to join you and your pack as a fellow lady, as I am quite loyal.. as long as I know I can trust everyone will return that loyalty?" Val gave a small head tilt, hinting the question. "Anyway, I'm also willing to be at service whenever need be, considering I'm quite well in close combat, myself." She momentarily chuckled to herself, before seating down to await his reply.
Pausing, she added, "Oh..! Have I forgotten my name? Please, call me Val." she gave a slight assuring nod before relaxing onto the ground below her.

I'll give you a chance to prove your worth, but if you're not pulling your weight, if that little limp of yours gets in the way, you can be damn sure that I'll let you know about it.
