» appearance
Ginny is of average height and weight, suiting well for her young age. She is built for strength and running, having been bred for sledding in the cold regions. As the young female grows up, her legs would soon be a boost for her speed, but for now, she focuses on other less important things.
Her fluffy appendage is a mixture of a dark golden and a light cream, true to her bloodline— the Chinook. The pup’s coat is still a bit too fluffy, but would soon turn sleek and silken as she continues to mature. Genevieve’s tail is plumed and light feathered, the tip constantly seen curled or just hanging between her cream-colored legs. Her coat is paired with the cold, so she had no trouble during the winter seasons, although it might be a slight bother when summer rolls in.
Aside from the young Chinook’s fur, she also has her “windows to the soul” or her eyes. They are a peculiar shade of stormy grey, constantly mirroring her thoughts and feelings. Those stormy optics are round and big, almost almond-shape. They are probably Ginny’s most distinguishing figure. Her nose is a shade of dark pink, soon to turn an obsidian hue. All in all, we could all safely say that Genevieve is a fairly pretty, adorable little canine.

[polite x kind x caring x respectful x obedient x follower x easily manipulated x naïve x easily scared x submissive x selective mute x paranoid x self-conscious]
Ginny isn’t the kind of pup who would get into someone’s face if provoked. Rather, she is the opposite of that. She is very polite and respectful when she speaks to her elders—or anyone really, never fights, and can never defend herself, which often results into her being pushed around. Genevieve doesn’t mind. She was born a follower, not a leader. In fact, Ginny is scared of being in charge, as she constantly doubts herself and would mentally kill herself if she makes even just an inkling of a mistake.
Ginny tends over-think things and is very self-conscious. She lacks self-confidence and courage. And because she’s so paranoid and polite, she hardly ever speaks unless told to or expected to. Gin thinks that it is only respectful to keep silent if the canine she is talking to is still speaking. The child is also very easily scared, almost anything unfamiliar can freak her out, but she never shows it in public because of her self-consciousness.
Aside from all that, she’s incredibly obedient and would do anything to bring a smile upon one’s face or be proud of her. Thus, she is easily manipulated. Adding to this is her naivety. Genevieve tends to be simple, and cannot take unfamiliar and/or complicated things because she gets frustrated and often seeks help from others.

» history
Ginny was born into a family of five, her being the second last of the litter. Their father was a very stoic and strict man, but still expressed his love and care for his family. All three pups were taught about how to know where their place is, manners, and the basic techniques and skills they needed for survival.
The three siblings seemed close and caring for each other whenever their parents were around, but when they aren’t, Ginny’s older brother, Ace, makes the younger two’s lives living hell. He would order the two, Ginny and Copper, from dawn till dusk, making them carry out almost impossible tasks. Whenever they tried to tell their parents about Ace, he would threaten them and make their lives even harder. As they grew, Copper grew more and more spiteful toward their older brother, until one day, he just snapped and ran away. Mother and Father followed after him, forgetting about the other two pups.
Ginny was now left with Ace. They survived for the next passing months, the same cycle going on and on. The young she-pup never complained, just worked. She was deathly scared of her brother now. But her life had gone to a rest when the two were found by a street dog named Calypso. She treated the two pups well, and she even believed Ginny and started to scold Ace for his abuse to his little sister. Everyday, Ace would get a mouthful from Calypso, until he too, ran away. Ginny was sad that she no longer had his two siblings by her, even if one was abusive, but she learned to let go and live on.
By the time she reached nine months, Calypso became very ill. She could not keep her food down, could not sleep well at night, and soon, she had passed away. Now Ginny is beyond afraid, wondering how she would survive on her own in this big, unfamiliar, and rather scary world. She has found a new home with the Ragdogs, but the same fear she had when her guardian had died was still there, haunting her until she sought out someone who could help her get over it.
