Aisha[/b][/color]
Aisha had decided to leave this place she called home for almost over a year. As she was walking away from the country house she sat down to look back at it. Many happy memories were related to this place, and now it was a ghost land. She was the only thing remaining here, and now was leaving it. This old house would always be her true home, Aisha got back up and left the propriety. It was the early morning and she was hoping to find her way to the city before dark tonight.
She trotted down the long road and trotted for a while. She couldn't see her home down the road but still couldn't see anything coming up ahead. She stopped with her tongue hanging out, panting and catching her breath. The large mastiff needed to drink, her mouth was so dry. She looked down in the ditch on the side of the road, there was a small stream of water flowing down. She walked down to the icy water and took a few licks from it. How refreshing. She licked her lips and looked back at the road. Maybe if I cut through the woods I'll find the city faster. She looked into the thick forest, wondering if this was a good idea.
The large english mastiff took a deep inspiration and leaped over into the woods. It was quiet around here, a crackling here and there but nothing much. The cream colored dog walked slowly, keeping her ears focused and her nose alert. As the minutes passed by she would walk faster and faster returning to her usual trot. Soon enough she could see bright light through the trees, a clearing. She ran to reach it faster, she came upon a large field. Aisha had made it, she could see far in the distance rooftops, the city.
She walked towards the houses with her nose on the ground. Aisha had gotten hungry after this long hike. She was tracking a rabbit scent when a fresher scent came across her nose. Not a scent of something she would eat, another dog. It was a older female, she was alone. Aisha lifted her head up and looked around but saw nothing at first. She then saw a quick black spot cross through the dry grass and the snow. "Who goes there?", she asked loud and clear. The female mastiff was now in a defensive position and looking in the direction she last saw the black spot.

In an almost like prance, Cookie walked along the alleyways of the city. Her head bobbed back and forth, making sure no other animals were nearby. Although she was small, she could be mighty if provoked, but she didn't want to risk that chance. She preferred to keep things civil, just like her former human. She sighed a little, stopping in her tracks before deciding where to head too. She was a bored little chihuahua and needed something interesting to do.
While she stood in her place, she rattled her brain. She remembered there was a field nearby and suddenly wanted to go. She jumped and started trotting over towards the area. She saw snow on the ground and laughed, flopping on her side to roll around in it. She barked happily, excited. She rolled back to the her feet and shook the snow off her fur. Her brown eyes glanced up at the sky, and saw the position of the sun, and estimated the time to be somewhere between ten and noon. Cookie couldn't help but smile, as her feet leapt off the ground again and she darted across the field, for the heck of it.
While upon running through the snow and grass, Cookie heard a noise. In fear, she suddenly stopped in place and turned her head, trying to find the spot of the noise, only to see tall grass around her. She debated whether to speak out or keep to herself and try to get away quietly. Deciding on the latter, she tried to slither away unseen. With each move, Cookie had to be careful not to make a "crunch" or sound with the grass. Sighing, after taking a few careful steps, she realized it would be too hard, and chances were, she'd probably run into the animal anyway.
Sighing again, she barked out, hoping to gain it's attention. If it was another dog, maybe she'd be okay. But if it was another animal, well, maybe she could outrun it before it tried to eat her. "I'm over here. Who are you?" She asked, ignoring the question, wondering if she should say who she was. Would it matter anyway?

Aisha
The english mastiff focused when the stranger talked and found her where abouts. She walked slowly towards that direction and almost passed right by the small black and tan chihuahua. She looked down at her and smiled, feeling any uncomfortable feeling fly away. She stared at her, not speaking at first. She was thinking that she asked the question first but finally decided to present herself first. Who knew, maybe this dog was a part of a pack and she was on their territory. That thought was denied because the long-haired dog didn't seem offended or anything.
"My name is Aisha, I just found this place and not even ten feet in I come across you." Aisha sat down, then sat down still feeling too high. "And who are you?" She stared right at the small thing, the mastiff had never seen such a small dog. She wondered if this chihuahua had ever seen such a big dog. "Where are you from?", she found she asked many questions but she was a curious one. Aisha was still thirsty from earlier and started to lick the snow near her paws as she kept an eye on the other female.

Cookie was startled for a second, to see something so big near her. She had been raised around big dogs, but this one was even taller than ones she had been around. She stood on her paws, staring at Aisha, wondering who she was and where she had come from. Was she part of another pack? A loner? Was she going to be food to this dog? She kept thinking of other questions, possibilities of her fate, but soon, shook the thoughts away in time to hear the other dog speak.
Cookie stared again at the mastiff, smiling a little. "Nice to meet you Aisha. I'm Cookie. Can I ask where you were coming from? Since you found this place." She tilted her head to the left slightly, to really take the dog in. She blinked a few times, her sight fading from her right eye. She closed it, feeling it starting to hurt, straining to see. "I'm from the town over there." She looked straight ahead, figuring the dog could see the town with how big she was. "Are you headed that way? If so, I can show you around if you'd like. I like to help others." She babbled, feeling slightly like an idiot, yet couldn't help but feel like this dog wouldn't do her any harm. She had worried over nothing, she thought to herself as her tail slowly started to wag in happiness.

Aisha got back up on her paws, wagging her long black-tipped tail looking down at the small dog. She was happy to have a guide around the city. "I come from a far house out in the country, surrounded by fields and forest. On the other side of this forest there's my road.", she thought about the abandoned house and her family gone, "What use to be the road to my home is now a lonely road. This is why I'm coming out here, seeking for others and adventures." The mastiff female looked over at the city and then back at the chihuahua. Aisha noticed the babbling and smiled. "You don't have to be ashamed of having a good heart. Karma Cookie, karma." She looked back at the black dog, "So, we're we heading there now or we're you doing anything out here?", she looked quickly around the empty field. There was nobody else around here, no dog, no prey. What had brought her out so far from the city border Aisha wondered.

Cookie was surprised. There was a little town nearby? That sparked her interest and she knew she had to keep talking to this dog by the name Aisha. "Oh really? That's neat!" She was about to ask another question when she heard the response that she was going to ask. "Oh well, I'm sorry there was no one there to have fun with."
Cookie laughed, and noticed Aisha's smile. "Well, I'm not entirely sure what karma is. But I'll take it as a good thing?" She asked, smiling back at the dog. "There's nothing really out here. I was bored and needed somewhere to go. I remembered this little spot and figured no one would be out here so I came here to roam around. But obviously, I found you!" She yapped happily, bowing down, her tail wagging harder. "We can go back into town or we can do whatever. I honestly don't have a preference. I do ask though that you help lead me back in the right direction. I can't see too well out of my right eye, and it hurts when I strain it too long." She responded as she stood straight up again and pawed at Aisha's tail, easily amused by how it swayed back and forth.

Aisha was now intrigued by this little female chihuahua, not only does she come all the way out here just to prance around but she also can' see out her right eye. The mastiff wondered how this little thing could survive like this on her own, was she on her own? "Yes, karma is good", she was still thinking about her surviving out here. "Your karma is good.", she said in a lower voice. "My mother explained this when I was a puppy. Karma is a part of life that you have the power to change. If you make good decisions, good things should come around. If you make bad decisions, bad things will come around." She smiled feeling like she was over-loading her with this information. "Do you follow me?" The english mastiff found herself doing that again, trying to teach things to others that don't know. Cookie didn't know about karma, and there Aisha was blabbing all the information that she didn't ask for.

Cookie couldn't help but smile as she heard karma was good. "That means I've done good then?" She asked, her lips curling into a bigger grin as she jumped up, slightly hyper. "Was your mother smart?" She asked, curious as to how it felt being raised by a bitch, instead of a human girl. Cookie nodded, listening to Aisha continuing to talk. "I follow. Karma is good if you've done good. But it's bad if you've done bad." She repeated after Aisha, changing it up into her own words. At time she spoke properly, but at other times, she spoke without thinking and putting two and two together. "So, tell me about yourself? You grow up in that little town?" She blinked a few times, feeling her eye feel a little better.

Aisha smiled because this little dog seemed just as curious as she was. "Yes, you got it. Karma can be your friend but also your enemy, you're the one who decides." Cookie then asked her about her mother, the mastiff had to think for a bit. "I only spent my first three months with my mother and siblings. I do remember her being a smart and caring mother. She tried to let us go with the most knowledge a three month old pup could hold." She smiled again, thinking about the good times she had at her birth home. "After that I was purchased by a family who lived out in the country, they became my own family, their house was my home. I learned a lot on my own but was taught by my human family how I should act around other, and stuff.". They were walking a steady paste and were almost half way to the border line.
As they walked Aisha watched were the small dog was walking, making sure no holes, branches or rocks in her path. She wondered how was her sight exactly, did she see enough to detail at least shapes with her eye, or was she mostly blind, many questions came up in the cream dogs mind. "How about you?", she asked thinking that maybe she would mention a part about her blindness. "Walk slowly towards the right, there's a tree coming up." Aisha smiled at Cookie, the large dog as getting more interested in the small chihuahua. She seems like a good dog to have around, not for hunting for sure. Maybe if it were to scare the rabbit out of it's hole. The mastiff walked with her head high, watching the horizon and had an inner laugh about the thought of Cookie running under ground and her waiting at the hole, ready to pounce.

Cookie looked up at Aisha and grinned. "So I decide my karma? That's awesome! Freewill, I've always enjoyed freewill." She murred a little, listening to Aisha talk about her mother, then her human family. "Do you wish you had stayed with your mom? Or are you glad you met your family? Do you ever miss your humans?" She asked a few questions, trying to keep her mouth busy as she struggled to not think about her humans. She was interested in this large mastiff, and wanted to know as much as she was willing to share.
Cookie walked alongside Aisha, feeling a soft breeze blow through her fur. She giggled more to herself than out loud, as she felt a shiver go down her spine. "I'm not quite sure what you mean, how about me? But, I grew up away from here. But I somehow got over here, just kept traveling." She took note of what Aisha said, and moved towards the right, away from the tree. "Thanks. If you're curious, feel free to ask. I'm partially blind, only in my right eye. I can see shadows and outlines, but anything else, I can't see through my right eye. It sucks, but it's nice that I can still see out of my left." She smiled up at Aisha, digging her paws into the ground and leaned down, stretching her back for a split second. "So the city, you want to explore it?" She asked, seeing the entrance to the city.
