the morning was chilly, the sun not yet peaking beyond the horizon. the moon was still trying to hide itself, not knowing what wrath the sun might release upon it. the sun and moon were like lovers, though the kind that lived in fear. the sun and moon chased eachother away, but longed for the other as well... much like an abusive relationship, perhaps? was it the sun, though, or the moon at fault? such questions could not be answered in millions of lifetimes, lest you were god himself.
Slawter's pawsteps were all meant as they were, intentional. Her ivory claws left deep imprints in the sand, though she didn't mind. If someone were following her, so be it. Their mistake, she would say. Even a fool might know not to cross paths with this bitch. You could see her insanity; She did nothing to hide it, she held a pride in it. A pirde deeper than blood, deeper than the chaos deep in her veins. Deeper than the hatred in her arteries.
Slawter stopped, and looked up at the old theme park. The rides were tall, and birds were perched high up. A growl rumbled in Slawter's throat; She despised those fuckers with a passion. Not because they were free, they could be higher than her; Because they were disgusting, small, and pathetic. Any chance she got, she'd rip 'em to pieces. You could call it an unhealthy hobby- Either way, she simply adored it with a deadly love.
Slawter began to walk again, toward the park. The sun was finally beginning to show it's face, and the moon slowly hid from it beyond the opposite horizon. What a strange, strange relationship, she thought.

Monty flaunted himself as he felt the ground change from concrete to sand. The concrete was still something he wasn't sure he enjoyed. Sometimes the sun warmed it up and it felt nice to lay upon, other times it felt like it was burning his pads right off. However right now everything was next to frozen, along with most garbage that was in need of being edible.
He heard a sea bird caw a few times, and it attracted his attention to the fact that there might be fish washed ashore. Yum. Putting more effort into his strut, as the sand grabbed at his paws, he enjoyed his adventures. Hoping to run into a little fun, but maybe not something like that bastard lone wolf he met in the Tunnel... no not that kind of fun.
Monty was a dog of his words, fair game. Childish even, but he had nothing to do, so he needed someone or something to occupy himself. But that was figured quickly as he stepped out toward the waters and caught a glimpse of a familiar stranger. Driving his legs into the persistent sand he stomped loudly toward the other. "Ahhh what was it, Slawter?" He guessed his... oh. OH. Her, name. He cleared his throat and mentally smacked himself for not having checked in to meet others since he joined the Rags. What a fool you can be, Monty.

Terriers are such strange dogs, they are. Those long, flat faces... Many found them unnattractive. Slawter, on the other hand, thought they were a handsome dog. Those faces they had really brought out there eyes, and in this case, brought out the small bits of cruelty in her pack members' dark eyes. She smiled at him, his assumption of her name right. Ah, yes, she was the Right Hand now, was she not? After a few moments of an awkward silence, Slawter nodded and remembered his name; Monroe. Yes, Monroe! What a handsome name that was, as well.
You'd be right as far as my name goes, Monroe, Slawter tried, hoping it was whom she was adressing. Her face would surely fluster were it not him. Slawter turned her entire body towards him, and had to look down to meet his gaze. She was much larger than he; She was a mastiff, making her massive in size and naturally strongly built. Monroe was smaller, being of the terrior species. However, he seemed well built as well and she guessed he could hold is own. Against her? Well... Maybe.
Slawter sat down, her hind legs showing off her muscles, and her proud chest pressed out. Her golden, amber eyes were trained on Monroe's darker ones, and she wasn't quite sure what to say. However, it didn't take her long for her to snap back into herself, really. She didn't feel awkward around anyone, and she wouldn't start now. So, you've heard of me, huh? Now it's time for you to flatter me with compliments, no? Slawter laughed, a cruel snickering sound that highlighter a bit of her brains dementia. Though she was a little insane, she still had her morals. She still had her opinions. Now, it was time to develope one for the one before her;

You'd be right as far as my name goes, Monroe,
Slawter easily held inches on Monty. He was a buff, built character to match his personality, but he wasn't as tall as some would imagine. But he held his head high, thinking he was as tall as the city buildings. Slawter called him Monroe, facing him with a smile, which he wasn't expecting. It made him feel sort of honored even. Being called Monroe was rare, not many knew his real name other than Hades and apparently Slawter. He held nothing against his cross-name, but he wasn't used to hearing it come from another maw.
So, you've heard of me, huh? Now it's time for you to flatter me with compliments, no? Slawter let out a laugh, her demeanor was friendly as Monty threw in a couple of chuckles also. So she had a sense of humor also, thrilling. Her muscles jutted out with pride and Monty felt a intense sense of respect for her. Her laughter left him with canine goosebumps, trickling down his back. "If I must to hear such a laugh again, then no doubt... My, my what big muscles you have!" He mocked the common bed time story and guttered another laugh at himself.

She smiled slyly at that sound, and her eyes' grew a little wider with the strange attraction. Monroe had a small, built bodythat also drew in Slawter. No, this wasn't attraction; it was just lust. The two were very, very different things. Lust was either sexual, or wanting something, a desire. A craving. Attraction insisted a mutual experience, meaning you wanted more than an intimate relationship. Yes, and Slawter could say she wanted neither.
Yeahhh?

Slawter smirked, hearing that chuckle again from Monroe. He was quite the character- and Slawter, strangely enough, already respected the small brute. That was rare, for Slawter hardely had an ounce of respect for anyone lower then she was. But he was different, he really was. And she liked that. So tell me, Monroe, do you have such charm with every female you meet, hmm? Slawter asked, winking a dark eye at him, sincerely curious. She was hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way- She had no interest in him, not in the way a guy or girl would persue the other. Really, it wasn't. Slawter was just naturally flirty, and she had no regrets if it. She wouldn't mind leading anyone on now and again. She just didn't want anyone to attempt to lead her on- That's when things get messy. [/blockquote]
