Maddox
Night had taken over the clear and sunny day that had passed by. The streets were as calm as usual, like most nights most dogs preferred to find cover and wait for the sun to come back. Maddox was the opposite type, he found he blend in better in the dark shadows with his black shiny coat. He walked out of an alley way leading him to Main street. It wasn't for nothing it was called Main street, it was the main street that lead to most places in this part of the city.
He was scavenging the sidewalks and garbage bins for any food, he wasn't really hungry or he would of hunt his own meal. He was just a bored and gourmand dog. The large built black dog had found a dumpster with a fresh scent to it, a scent of blood actually. Now let's see who's dieing in here, he thought to himself with a grin on his face. He hoped on a pile of old rotten wooden racks and peeked inside. Some raccoon had gotten hurt and came to a dumpsters for cover, but died due to the blood loss.
Maddox just huffed in disappointment and sat down of top of the pile. A dead raccoon, might as well eat shit! He then caught another scent, not one to be eaten though, not in his case at least. He smelt a female dog in the area, she couldn't see or hear her yet, but he was aware of her presence. His tail wagged slightly from side to side, not from happiness. It was more of an excitement feeling, not knowing how this encounter was going to turn out. He decided to jump off and go bump into this mademoiselle. Did she know he was there he wondered, it had been a little while since he had seen another dog wander around here at this time of night.

The night was a cool one, a soft wind blowing, gossping with the tree's and grass; Sharing secrets with eachother, mocking those with a heartbeat for they would never know what the spoke to another, what the said. Did they ever speak of the female called Slawter? Did they ever think of her, and shiver like many others had? Did they ever even attempt to remember the wrongs she's done? It was hard to say, really. Like said, the living would never really know, as much as they desired so. What secrets of the world did they hide from those who owned it?
The darkness was the best part of night, Slawter liked to think. She was pure white, though welcomed the shadow the did nothing to hide her. Let them come, she'd say. She'd taunt the day and night and mock them, tell them 'i'm in your reach, but out of your league,' cause well, she was a bitch like that. Undeniably, she would agree. She was more than that, though. So much more. What, exactly? That was for her aquanitances to deside, of course.
Wandering the streets this late was considered norm for the beastess, Main Street a common place to find her. She walked straight down the middle of the road, her eyes never once shifting to the alleys or other streets. Let them come!
That was when Slawter say a dark figure emerge from an alley, a large black dog who blended well with the shadows. Slawter stopped, but not out of fear. no.Let them come... Slawter breathed, her voice whispy and airy. Come, she beckoned.

As Maddox made his way out to the main street, it was pretty easy to notice the large white mastiff female. Now I see why she's out here alone at this time of night! The large argentinian mastiff was a hard breed that could easily defends itself, and that was in general. This one how ever seemed slightly bigger than the others he had seen. He walked slowly to the middle of the road, putting himself strait in line with her path. She was a few meters away from him. He stood there, head and ears high, tail strait down motionless.
He could tell that there was no fear coming from this female, he found it interesting. Normally he made others feel worried and most of the time they turned around. This white dog though kept on coming towards him. "What is a lady like you doing out here at this time of night?", he asked staring strait into her dark eyes. "You're pretty brave, compare to the other females around here." He knew that she must be a dangerous dog if offended to walk with such confidence. He sat down in the middle of the road and took a quick look around, they were the only two out on Main street.

The large black dog adressed her, with a respectful and strong voice. His eyes were dark and cunning, and it pulled Slawter in a little. She stopped where she stood at the sound of his voice, and smiled. Lady? Hmm, not sure how fitting that is... Perhaps mistress would be a better title, heh. Slawter cooed, her voice loud and breathy. She smiled at him, knowing he would see the uptwist of those white lips.
As to what I'm doing, the night is my calling. The night is my territory, it owns me as I own it.

Slawter had that nasty habbit of talking in riddles occasionaly, or personifying and claiming what wasn't claimable. However, it was part of who she was, what made her... her. Hah! Slawter snickered to herself lightly. I can assure you, this is not bravery. This is my nature. Perhaps it is you, whom are the brave one. Care to explore a little more on the idea, sir? Slawter was a cocky one, yes she was... She could be arrogant, but right now... She was teasing, beckoning. [/blockquote]

The black labrador mix rottweiler sat there as the dogo replied to his questions. She seemed like an intelligent dog and to be something else that he didn't think he had ever seen. She had that trait about her that made him wonder but he couldn't tell what it was. As she explained what she was doing out here, Maddox had to hold back his tail. This female talked about the night just like he would ; The night is my territory, it owns me as I own it... interesting, the black dog smirked. "I am a courageous dog, because I don't fear nothing. I'm not saying I'm indestructible, but I'll give it my best. I think you are also courageous, maybe in a different way.", he answered as he stood back up. Maddox saw that she didn't get up when he did, At least I'm not dealing with a stressed out mutt, he took a few steps closer and sat back down ; he wanted to have a better look at this white dog. "May I ask what is your name?"

Slawter had to admit his philosophy was interesting, however, wrong in her mind. If he knew who she really was, he'd be scared. He'd be concerned, hah. He would, she knew it. Slawter has yet to reveal herself to anyone, save Hades- He saw her cruelty. Everyone else, theyv've only heard a sliver of her potential. The thought was a little distrubing, knowing only one man had seen through her.
You say you fear nothing, but I can't say I by that. See, everyone is afraid of something... Here's a nice example; I'm afraid of myself.
|
Slawter pondered, winking an eye at the male. What would he think of the demon? She was but a demon in a wolf's pelt, really. But this demon had buiness; But also a duty to fun. She had a place, but wouldn't turn down the chance to fuck with someone's head. It was her specialty. Slawter's eyes glistened at the request for her name, and she smiled, her chest puffing with pride. A pride many, many have seen. Ah, yes... My calling is Slawter, and I assure you, you might find it most fitting. That line was so repetetive, so overused by her. However, it was her favorite greeting. And it was so, undeniably true. Maddox nodded as she shared her point of view and smiled. She was right, nobody was afraid of nothing really. He haven't found his fear yet, he got afraid as he grew up but nothing marked him. The black dog overcomes the fears he encounters and learns from them. He use to be afraid to go out alone at night as pup, and now it's almost the only time he's out. The labrador mix saw the mastiff wink at him as she said she was afraid of herself. He wondered about that. She kept on going with his question. Slawter heh. Interesting. This female intrigue him ever more and he wanted to know more. "Fitting you say?", he stared at her for a second wondering what was her crime, or crimes. He was never killed any dog, at least that he knows of, but injured many. Unfortunately for Maddox his name was nothing close to fit his description.

Yes, fitting, Slawter would say. However, she could think of more clever things. Throughout her entire life, slaughtering was her thing. She remembered vividly when she slaughtered her family. Her parents. They neglected her, so she neglected her pleas. Their desire for life. Some would say it was her addiction, others say her nature. Slawter would easily accept either label, for they were both. Her parents deserved it, anywho. She wasn't at the wrong. Though she could think of times when she might have been. Irrelevant, she told herself. She could not deny the horrors that flowed through her veins, and she did nothing to hide it. Let them see, and let them come.
It's what I said, was it not? I don't think it's that hard to figure out. Slawter rolled her eyes, smiling to herself. Not to him, no, herself. I have tasted the very blood of my own veins, and tasted their shattered innocence. Here, i'll simplify it for your intelligence. Blood, it appeals to me. Any blood. I slaughtered my own parents, for christs' sake. Slawter slurred her words the way she does, and smirked. Hopefully, it might get it now.

Maddox listened to the large white dog as she detailed what she wanted to say. He looked at her strait in the eyes, those dark eyes, as she told him that she slawtered her own parents. He stared not from fear but more of interest. Why would he fear something that wouldn't hesitate to slawter him anyways he thought to himself. He was just a random dog in the streets. She didn't even know his name, he would be easy to forget.
The black labrador rottweiler mix walked towards the argentinian mastiff. "Do we walk and talk?", he was bored of being caught in one spot. He looked out down the street and picked up a quick sniff of air. The street looked calm and no scents where found besides the usual rodents. "Unless you had somewhere to go?", he walked passed by the white muscular mastiff and looked back at her with his tongue hanging out.
Maddox didn't care if Slawter wanted to stay here or leave to where ever she was going in the first place. He didn't mind her company, unlike most other dogs. She wasn't the average dog and that poked at his curiosity so bad, he wanted to know more about her.

The black male dog took a step towards Slawter, and her eyes narrowed and her smile became a little hostile. She wasn't scared- She was curious. Did he not know whom she was? Loner or not, he should be on his knees bowering to her and her rank. Slawter shrugged it off for now- Soon, he would know. Maybe then he might grovel before her. In due time, everyone would.
We could stay here- Out in the open. I rather like it- A little dangerous around these parts, all the more reason to well... Slawter winked at the male, and licked her dark lips. Stay here. She cooed, her voice liquid gold. It was always that; Liquid, slurring, into one seductive wordplay. Her muscles were tense in her body, naturally, showing off her physical strength. And her eyes reflected her mental, phych strength. She was power put into one essence.
Slawter's body position changed, to one of a little more confidence and one of more... Power, you could say. She let her ears perk high on her head, her chest puff out, and her eyes mirrored her innermost being. It was simply who she was. Always flaunting who she was. You could say, her pride was fatal.
