Maddox could barely control his interest in this female, never had he seen quite a character. He could tell by the way she hold herself and talked that she was a confident canine, just as much as he was about himself. She had something more than him though, and that is probably what made him so intrigued about this Slawter. Her name was probably what separated him from her, but he wouldn't admit that, not even to himself. "Not that I mind being out in the open.", the black dog started to walk from left to right. "I mind wasting my time not doing much.", he looked up at the female to see if she would react to his comment. "Not that you are wasting my time of course." He gave her a smile and looked around. He had woke up a few hours ago and hadn't found a good thing to eat. He breath in the cold air and closed his eyes, it made him feel more concentrated on the scents.
He didn't close his eyes for long, feeling a chill down his spine. Don't let her get to ya bud, he thought to himself as one of his dark green eyes stared right in hers. This white mastiff was probably getting to him because of her muscular and massive looks. Maddox didn't want to believe what he doubted. Could Slawter be right when she said that everyone was scared of something?. Slawter had given as example that she was scared of herself. The black labrador retriever mix rottweiler wondered if he wasn't scared of the same thing. How could he? He didn't even know her, but the body language that comes from this female is purely evil. Made Maddox uncomfortable enough to want to see more. He considered himself as a harsh, vicious by times dog, but he knew that this white dog was capable of more. The thought of going out on a hunt had left his mind he was so preoccupied about this new 'fear' of his.

Slawter raised an eyebrow when he mentioned wasting time, then it hit her. He was a loner. She didn't have much liking of their breed- Really, what did they even do? Claim lands that belonged to nobody. They sat on their asses all day, while people like her worked theirs off! As a loner, i'm sure find yourself wasting time more than often. Don't be complaining about it now, please. The please was said in such a sarcastic way. She was mocking him, but didn't make it to obvious. She was a little more respectable then that.
Her eyes looked him up and down. She was wandering about, recruiting. He would be nice material for her pack, but she didn't know if he was worth the trouble. She looked at him, pondering. A cruel smile was placed on her lips, wondering his worth. However, she let her mind bounce back and forth. He was a loner by choice- A weak, pathetic choice, at that. She shook her head a little, more so to herself, and laughed. He wouldn't know what loyalty was, he wouldn't know what pride was. Not like her. No one, ever, would know it like her.

Maddox watched the white female's eyes look him from top to bottom and then she laugh. The black labrador mix cocked his head slightly and wondered what she had thought. "I don't waste time, Slawter. I just live life doing my own thing.", he smirked and stared in her black eyes, as if trying to get a look in her mind. "I hear you are a pack member. Good for you.", his last words sounding just as sarcastic as her 'please' . "May I ask whom you've promised loyalty to?", he said with a curious smile.
Maddox had never been in a pack or even depend on another dog to survive. He liked it that way and not being a friendly type of dog he would have much trouble keeping it cool having another dog have authority over him. His mother and the group abandoned him at the age of three months, or as he thought to be, ever since he lost 'faith' in being part of a group, or a pack. The black dog watched behind Slawter a raccoon walk along the walls of a house, his stomach growled once more. He would wait for this conversation to end and find something to satisfy his appetite.

Slawter rolled her eyes at him, shaking her head. He didn't know what he was missing out on. His life, as a loner, was without purpose. Without anything but time-wasting and boredom. Slawer couldn't begin to fathom living such a simple life. So, you do your own thing? What does that consist of, heh, Slawter snickered, wondering what his reply might be. What did he do? Eat, sleep, try to find some ladies now and then? Slawter only pitied him now. No remorse, simply this feeling that he could be so much more.
My loayalties are devoted to the Ragdoll Royale, and I serve as their Right Hand. Slawter said, with pride. She lifted her head a little higher. Though I wouldn't expect a loner to know what that means- I'm second in command, under lord Hades, Slawter's words slurred again- She put emphasis on the 'serve' because it suggested she had a purpose here, and she was obviously the one the gods would rather welcome into their throneroom. A loner, versus the leader. Hah, not that hard of a choice.

Maddox was trying his best to keep a good temper around this white mastiff, he didn't want her on his bad side. It was quite a hard task for him since this female was very particular in her words. Always saying something else than what she really is, not that she doesn't mean what she really is saying. Slawter was hard for the rottweiler mix to understand. The black dog nodded slowly when she said that she was the second hand of the Ragdog Royal pack, he had heard only little details about them but that they're known to be ruthless dogs. At one point he had thought of joining, he was curious about how it felt to 'serve' and have specific tasks to accomplish. But the thought of having many dogs around him made him scared of himself.
Of course he had not tried joining a gang of dogs since he lost his at the age of three months. He looked back at Slawter as she ended her last phrase and lifted her head just that much higher. He laugh."I guess I would be proud of being the second hand too. I see where some of your pride also comes from.", he had put a slight emphasis on the 'also' not forgetting that Slawter seemed to like to kill. He knew most of her pride was from that side of her very own personality. Maddox then pondered about the white dog's first question. What did he do really? Nothing much but trying to make it day to day, not knowing what to expect the next. "As for what I do., he paused not knowing what to answer exactly. She was the second hand of a pack, maybe this is the day he should change his ways and accept being told what to do? "It seem that I see differently now. I mostly always do the same thing after every day and now that you ask me it seems that I got bored of it. The labrador mix was confused about his life, but of course never showed a thing about it. Maybe I should of have kept with the routine when I smelt her, I wouldn't be so puzzled about what I should do next., he thought to himself as he looked around. If he wouldn't of talked to Slawter, he would be at his tour in the amusement park by now.
