PACK: cornerstone graveyard. RANK: seer. APPEARANCE At first glance Baratheon is an intimidating dog. He is large and well muscled - a trait inherited from his wild ancestors. He has thickly set shoulders and a toned neck, atop which sits a large head with a long muzzle and sharp teeth held within. His ears are of an average size and triangular in shape except for slight rounding at the tip, standing erect on his head. His eyes are very light gold, almost honeyed-green in colour. His eyes are open and bright and much to his dismay, betray his emotions easily. Baratheon received most of his physical appearance from the wild side of his ancestry. From a distance he appears almost as a short-haired wolf due to his build as well as his unique coat colour and texture. It is the typical wild colour for the most part, being a ticked grey in colour. It's lightness and the level of ticking recedes towards his belly and chest. Slight browning can be found around his muzzle and ears too. The texture of his coat, is similar to that of a malamute. It is remarkably thick, yet close lying, only fluffing out around his neck and chest to form a sort of "mane". His tail is long and heavily feathered. Being a proud dog, he holds it straight as he walks. PERSONALITY STRENGTHS: noble, resilient, honest, fiercely loyal, courageous. WEAKNESSES: arrogant, stubborn, narrow-minded, patronizing, vengeful. Take your mind back to the middle ages. To kings and queens, peasants , lords, ladies and knights. Baratheon is one such a dog, a noble knight in shining armor, ready to defend all that is good and just, even rescue a damsel in distress or two. Above all else, he has honor and his convictions are strong. He would rather die defending what he believes in than betray his cause. In today's world, it may seem a little naive to the outsider but those opinions will quickly disappear as soon as NAME opens his mouth. His speech is so convicting, so enthralling that he could convince the most peaceful dog to take up arms. His words are by no means honeyed, rather they are words of iron and steel, talk of battle and defending honor that rouse those around him. But he is not simply a shining warrior, every canine has their dark side. Baratheon is incredibly vengeful. If you cross him once, it shall be your last. He also possesses immense arrogance, believing he is invincible (just as any knight would), however this can prove dangerous to him as the myriad of scars across his body prove. Of course, he has been with females before yet he is not particularly romantically inclined. Perhaps, one day, he might find the ideal mate but for now he is happy to whore around every now and then to take the edge off. Something about Baratheon that others would probably not believe is that he actually doesn't particularly like fighting, it's just that it's the only way he knows how to protect what he stands for. Many times, he has opted for the diplomatic route to no avail so he has basically come to the conclusion that it doesn't work and waging an all out war is the sole way to sort his problems out. One thing most prominent about Baratheon is his respect for power. He treats those above him with the greatest of respect and regards his pack Mother in the highest esteem. His loyalty means he would do absolutely anything for the pack, even die for them if it came to that. |
