APPEARANCE:

Slick's reddish fur is highlighted by dark greys, black, and browns, making his color stand out everywhere but a forest in full blown fall. His chest is marked by a large white spot, the one thing that had set him apart from siblings. He has huge ears, making it almost impossible to sneak past him, they also help him regulate his body temperature in extreme weather. His dark chocolate colored eyes are full of warmth, showing what a caring dog he is. Although he is on the leaner side, he's pure muscle, giving him the strength to fend for himself and protect Rev from a small pack of dogs. He stands tall at twenty-seven inches at the shoulders, his long legs are extremely powerful and have always been faithful to him. His tail is like a whip, thick and strong, and almost constantly wagging slowly from side to side.

PERSONALITY:

strengths ;
* Kind. He's always willing to help a fellow canine out as long as it doesn't put Rev into any danger. He's willing to go out of his way and handle a bit of trouble to help other canines out.
* Alert. Slick is always on the look out for possible danger, and always has a plan. Obviously this greatly helps him out when it comes to avoiding confrontations with packs.
* Sly. This has gotten him out of a lot of sticky situations. He can talk his way out of almost anything and always tries it before he resorts to fighting.

weaknesses ;
* Never acts without thinking. This gives him an extremely slow reaction time, causing him to get into some bad situations.
* Talkative. Slick cannot keep a secret to save his life, thankfully there's never been an occasion where he truly had to keep a secret to save his life.
* Loud. He has a tendency to bark and howl almost constantly, hating the quiet that Rev can make. This also tends to get him into some bad situations as it lets everyone know he's there and can be extremely irritating.

HISTORY:

Where to even begin, he's smart, charming, and well, as his name says, slick. Slick ran wild for the first six months of his life, keeping close by to his mother whom was a coyote, this taught him many skills that would be useful in the future. At around six months of age a human took him in, and although the human was not overly cruel Slick would have much rather have been running free. His owner kept him chained up in the back yard, rarely paying attention to him other than to tend to his food and water needs. After the apocalypse Slick stayed chained for a while, but eventually broke free of his collar, he wandered for days till he stumbled upon a house that looked to abandoned. This is where he met Rev, she actually attacked him when he intruded onto her territory, unaware of the fact that someone had lived there. He quickly realized she was everything he ever wanted, but she repeatedly turned him away, wanting nothing to do with him, after about four months she came to trust him after he saved her from a pack of wild dogs. Since that day they have been best friends, going nowhere alone. Slick didn't trust anyone around Rev, and would protect her with his life.
