APPEARANCE:

Beau is a rather handsome dog and takes majority of his looks from his cattle dog ancestors, being that's the most dominant breed in his blood. The first you would notice with this handsome male is his coat. His coat it of medium length and in places it has a rather course texture to it, but mostly his fur is soft. Being an outdoor dog all his life his coat easily adapts to the weather. It's short in the spring and summer and grows longer and thicker for the fall and the winter. Beau has a blue speckled coat with a black mask and tan markings. The speckled effect comes from a mixture of white, black, and grey which also creates the blue looking coloration. He has several tan spots on his body starting with his legs. All four of his legs have tan that extends most of the way upwards towards his body. Two spots of tan that are triangular in shape is on his chest. He has a medium sized, diamond shaped tan marking on his throat with a few spots where it extends up to his muzzle. His ears are pricked and are medium in size. He is a sturdy and muscular dog with a broad head and a deep muzzle. Beau has the height of a male pit bull, which is slightly taller than the cattle dog breed. He stands at 24 inches high and normally weighs around sixty three to sixty five pounds. He keeps himself fit and lean and being that he likes to exercise its rather easy for him. Beau has a stronger bite than your average cattle dog which is something he gained from the small portion of Pit bull in his lines. Beau's eyes are a dark brown color, oval, and show alertness.

Beau is what you can say, pretty typical for the Cattle Dog in his veins. He has the personality of one and is proud of it. To start he is athletic. He doesn't like to sit around all that much and if he doesn't have anything in particular to do you can find him running and working himself into a pant. He doesn't like to let himself get fat and being that he has a lot of energy and a rather hot temper, he wears himself out to prevent his temper getting the best of him. Being athletic and that he is constantly keeping himself in shape, he is rather alert and good with fighting. He knows how to brawl and he's not really the dog you want to pick a fight with. He has a rather high pain tolerance and most injuries don't bother him or he just bottles up the pain behind those hard and alert eyes of his. Beau is an independent creature and doesn't rely on others to tend to his needs. He tends to find his own ways to tend to his needs and most of the time refuses help from others because he has a strong pride. He doesn't like to admit when he's in pain, weak, or down. Instead he will just say he's fine and with those eyes you can never really tell what he is truly feeling. This also leads to the fact Beau tends to keep to himself. The fact he doesn't like to show his weakness' means he finds ways to hide them. An example being if he feels his temper is getting to him he will go out and exercise himself until he is exhausted. Being that he doesn't share much on himself others tend to be weary of him and don't trust him that quickly, but Beau will in fact prove himself. When he finds another and grows close to another he is loyal to his death and can be rather protective. Beau will also fight for what he believes in, argue and try to prove others wrong if they disagree with him. Having this trait can also make him a bit rebellious because if it goes against his believes he will in no way do it or agree to it.

Any dog's life begins with their parents meeting and coming together to procreate. That part of the history tends to be rather similar amongst most. Beau's father had roots that were bound to a rather small pack living within the dark woods. The pack had a rather easy life, living like their ancestors have and had an abundance of food living on their territory. The pack was rather neutral in beliefs and in attitudes. They had anywhere from aggressive and vicious dogs to gentle and harmless dogs. They lived in harmony lead by an alpha pair, the male being a large German shepherd and the female being a pretty coonhound. His mother originated from a family clan that thrived within the territory of Old Hemingway Farm. His mother was a bit of a sheltered dog, living with just close family, cousins, and maybe three or four strays that had wandered onto the farm. She had been a purebred farm dog and spent her life outside herding sheep and cattle like her mother and father had did. Two dogs from almost different worlds had found each other one day. Both were hunting with small parties outside of their territories in the unclaimed and unoccupied territory of Golden glory field. Naturally the meeting was tense pack meeting unknown clan and vice versa and even grew a bit threatening. The two hadn't really got to know each other that day. But the next day they both somehow returned to the same place around the same time, got to know each other. They met around the same time every day for a few weeks until they found each other attracted to one another. Maverick decided to leave his pack and go back to Dahlia's home where they made their home. A year later they tried for pups and the first time was unsuccessful, but the second time that year they were successful and had a healthy litter of four, three boys and one girl. They raised those pups on the farm, Beau being one of the pups. His life was great, the cattle and sheep that was once owned by humans still inhabited the farm, bred, and made larger herds. He grew up honing in on and perfecting the skills that his grandparents and mother were bred for. also the farm was bursting with prey from as small as mice to as large as cows. Life was great! At age two Beau began to travel, first starting in short distances and gradually getting larger and larger. This was when he stumbled upon the Cornerstone pack in the graveyard. Though he had no dogs that particularly attracted him to the pack in the first place he found it convenient. His family was nearby and he could go visit, but he was also out and about on his own life so he decided to join Cornerstone.
