The black and tan female examined the red dog as he added a simple comment about human homes, a simple comment that gave her much information. He had probably encountered that specie before, and by the sound of his voice and the description, the encounters have not been positive ones. She noticed the smirk appear on his lips as she answered his first question. Jayashri understood by the look on his face that her title interested him, it was a nice title to hold. She was surprised that he also apologized, not expecting anything of such sort, for getting upset earlier. "I understand your point of view, nobody likes to be called a liar, not even a true liar.", she pause for half a second, hoping that he wouldn't get her words crossed. "Now a day, it's hard to know who you can trust or not. I do tend to avoid trusting I must say." Her eyes narrowed down as she remembered a few times as pup where she had decided to trust strange dogs.
She looked back up as he kept on talking, she noticed his ears perk up as a loud rumble came from her stomach. "I should find a little something to keep me alive. My first attempt of the day wasn't a success.", she muttered as her ears laid back and a dark look covered her face. She hated 'failing', no matter what it was. "I don't know of any place around here to find a fresh meal. Only the small creatures come around this part of the city. I'm feeling for something big, if you're willing to help out.", she gave him a curious look and a slight smile. Two dogs had a better chance of taking down a medium-large prey than a single dog.

[/img]

[atrb=background,http://i48.tinypic.com/2dazrwx.png] Ruadh’s eyes narrowed a little bit at the female’s response – he wasn’t really sure if that had been meant as an insult or if it was just an unfortunate phrasing of words. Nevertheless, he let it slide – there was nothing to suggest that she would try to start something (again), and he certainly didn’t want to, especially over a simple misunderstanding. Not when they’d finally made their peace. No, he simply nodded in understanding of the rest of her comment. Now that was something he could definitely relate to. Trust.
For just a moment, the red dog’s head, turned away from Jayashri, bowed low and sadness shone in his eyes. This dog was smart not to trust anybody, and would be even smarter not to trust him. Because he was a liar. Everything he did was a lie. His very existence was a lie. For someone to trust him unquestionably was not something he could bear to think about. He knew he would only disappoint. That’s why, like this dog, he did not trust either. But unlike her, he wasn’t scared of someone else letting him down...
Although his thoughts felt as if they went on forever, in actuality there was only a brief pause before Ruadh spoke in a low voice. That’s smart. No matter what, others will always let you down or turn around and bite you in the back. That’s right, not just me, but even she let me down. He cleared his mind, steeled his eyes, and when Ruadh turned his head to look at Jayashri, all traces of his distress were gone and a sly smirk was planted on his lips. You know what? I think I’m actually beginning to like you. Well, there was a reason he had joined this pack, and even though it was a small one, the attitude of this female was gratifying. Despite what I may have thought at first, you have your head screwed on straight.
Jayashri’s reaction to the ‘rumbling stomach’ elicited a light chuckle from the setter. What’s that look for? There was an evil glint in his eye, but the tone was less the rude snark of earlier and more gentle teasing. Did the rats manage to evade the mighty assassin? He just couldn’t help the little joke, now he was more at ease. Well... he paused for a moment, thinking of his own experiences with the land and where the best chance of prey might be, If you’re looking for something a bit bigger, the outskirts are our best bet.
Returning Jaya’s own with a wider smile of his own, Ruadh turned towards the exit and started to move towards the fresh air. Well, I did say I was hungry, too. And something other than rabbit would be nice. So I guess you’re stuck with me as a hunting partner this time. Though he did wonder how they would be able to bring a larger carcass back to the pack as well. He supposed they’d cross that bridge when they came to it.

Jayashri noticed that at the moment of her 'human' comment he avoided her stare. She smiled slightly thinking she got a hit about something, but she didn't know what, not just yet. He turned back towards her and told her that he started to like her. Poor Ruadh didn't like me before now? Oh boo! Jaya sad!, she thought jokingly to herself. "They were lucky enough I don't eat garbage!", she answered with a clear tone of pride in her voice. She looked over with a 'friendly' look and hopped up. "Unless of course there was a hit on their head. Though I don't see why Hades would want a rat dead... But if he did, I'd have to spill some rodent blood!", she added with an evil smile as she trotted toward the stairs leading to outside.
Jayashri laughed out loud at his last comment. "I stuck with you? Your hunting skills are, low? Please don't admit defeat before trying now, Ruadh." she ended with a large smiling, her pink tongue hanging out. The female doberman walked up the first steps, followed by the red setter. "How about we head for the woods? Might find some interesting meal out there. Many different options." She didn't leave him any time to answer her question as she ran up the second half of the stairs.
