AGE: 23 Dog Years / little over 3 Human Years
GENDER: Female
BREED: Central Asian Ovcharka

APPEARANCE:

= Val is a heavy built and large dog, as the CAO breed usually is. She's got very thick medium-length fur, which is quite handy in the winter. Big boned, she's also got very thick legs, large paws and a large head. Her tail is cropped, about 6 to 7 inches long with a tuff of fluff at the end. Val is also often mistaken for being overweight, but this is just a large amount of fur. Her ears have been cropped very short, as the CAO breed usually does. She stands at 27 inches to the shoulder, and weighs in at an estimated 130 lbs.
= Her fur is a light tan colour, which fades into creme and white on her stomach, legs, over the eyes, and tail. Her eyes are a lightly shaded amber colour, and her nose has a blotch of pink on the tip of the nose. She's got three visible scars on her body. The first two; on her front&right inner leg from a past scuffle she had gotten in. The third one; right under the inside of her hip, on her stomach. This was given to her from past abuse from the people who crated her for a short period of time. Around her neck is a brown leather "collar", which was put on her after she escaped the place where the humans crated her.

PERSONALITY:

strengths ;
strong; Val is quite strong, which is good for a street dog like herself. She's not a brawler, but when she does get into scuffles/battle, she can hold her own and knows how to walk away without serious injuries.

loyal; She is extremely loyal and trustworthy, and would never betray or abandon someone she cares about. She's very caring about the ones she loves, even if she does seem harsh at times.

determined; When she wants to achieve something or get something done, she is very determined to get it done and will not stop at anything until that goal is achieved.

weaknesses ;
lack of agility; Though she is good and strong in battle and can hold her own, her extra weight can slow her down, so relying on speed to escape isn't an option for her.

temper; She's got quite the temper, 'nuff said. She is easily pissed off and quickly angered at little things. Quite the anger problems here.

difficult; It is extremely hard to gain Val's trust. She doesn't open up to anyone and others find it very difficult to get along with her.

= To start, the most noticeable trait to her personality is her determination. If she's got a goal, she is willing to do whatever it takes and will not stop at anything to achieve that particular goal. The second, and probably worst personality trait is her difficulty of opening up to others, because of her past. Everyone she's known has betrayed her, so she finds it hard to trust anyone at this point. Though, if you do earn her trust, she will never betray you. She is extremely loyal and will stand by your side to do anything to protect you, if you've full gained her trust. Though you have to remember, gaining her trust isn't easy. Despite her harshness, if you get on her good side, you'll be a friend of her 'til the end as long as you're as loyal to her as she is too you.
= Val is also very easily angered, she's got quite the anger problems and temper. If there's something getting on her nerves, in let's say a pack, it's best for her to walk away instead of confronting it, since it will probably get her into deep trouble with them. She thinks before she acts; which is never good. One of the main things that angers her are other greedy canines. She's also not quite the "pup" type, but if one is in trouble, her instincts naturally kick in and she'll help him/her in any way she can if it's in trouble.

HISTORY:

= She doesn't remember most of her pup-hood, not knowing her siblings or parents. She grew up in a puppy-mill, who also fought dogs. At the time, she was being brought up to fight, and was being treated poorly, being used also as "bait" to train the older fighters. At a young age, she escaped late at night from the horrible place, and ran. She just kept running and traveling, and didn't stop for days. She finally reached this smaller looking town next to some nice woods and stayed there for a little over a year before being chased off by the larger sized stray dog pack that roamed the town and forests. Ever since, Val's been a loner wondering the streets and traveling from town to town. Along the way, she's met a few friends, who've either betrayed her or passed away from injuries, sicknesses, and one old friend, of old age. So as of now, she remains the loner she's basically always been.
