APPEARANCE:Perhaps the most striking thing one notices upon first glance at this dog is her eyes – a brilliant shade of amber. They shine with a soft light of kindness and stand out against the duller hues of her long coat. A face which seems to almost be split in two; one half is a blue merle, while the other is solid black, coming straight down the middle of her head before slanting as it reaches her left eye and fading into a mix of greys. There is a patch of white standing out at the top of her muzzle, close to her nose and her ears are floppy, topped with long, curly black fur.
All in all, she is a medium sized dog, slim and with a long thick coat. She is not particularly strong, but rather boasts speed and agility. Her fur is a wonderful mix of blacks and greys - the largest area of black being on her back an tail (which ends in a patch of white). Her shoulders and forelegs are lighter – a shade of grey which dissipates into almost white towards her neck and chest. The mix of greys on her slim front legs end with toes which seem to be dipped in white.
Though she is still quite young, and may seem to some to be 'delicate', Grace is not without her scars. Part of her left ear appears to have been ripped off and a couple of small scars decorate her left cheek. There is also quite a nasty looking one towards the side of her neck, though it is mostly covered by the long fur there.
PERSONALITY:strengths ;
strong-willed; honest; empathetic
weaknesses ;
ensnared by revenge; naive; indecisive; too weakGrace, as her name might suggest, was raised a pacifist. She was taught to always show compassion and warmth towards others regardless of their differences and this is something she firmly sticks to in her everyday life. She has developed a firm sense for the feelings of others, great empathy – it is as if she can feel their sorrow or even happiness - and this has given birth to her strong morals. She strives to do what is right, and often gets frustrated when she is powerless to do anything. And despite having had the misfortune of running into some dogs with evil in their hearts, Grace is still determined to see the good in everybody (except for that one...), and this can unfortunately make her quite naive and sometimes too trusting in the words of others.
She is the kind of dog who wears her heart on her sleeve, open and honest she rarely denies anyone the opportunity to see her as she is (though the reasons for her drive are hidden). Though she is quiet and often reflective, it is not in the sense that she doesn’t talk; her voice is just above a whisper, but it is hard to tell if this is due to the scar on her neck, or if she is just trying to soften the edges.
Her mother was raised by kind humans and therefore had many warm stories to tell about the creatures. This instilled great curiosity, for Grace had never laid eyes upon one. Still a pup at heart, she is eager to hear stories of the humans and just as eager to tell some of the ones she knows. She looks at the city in wonderment of the kind of beings that could create such things.
However, there is a venom running through her veins. One that makes her thirst for blood – for the blood of one dog in particular.
For revenge.
Although she still holds tightly to the beliefs of her family, there is someone she cannot forgive. Someone who took her only remaining family away from her. Someone who took her world. And she has promised herself that she would clothe that monster in red. That’s her driving force. The reason she wants to become strong. That burning fire inside of her.
Her hatred is what keeps her living, even as it blinds her.

[...and as she lay, drenched in blood and despair, one word, one name thundered through her skull and set a fire alight within her very soul.
