APPEARANCE:Apple stands about thirteen inches to the shoulder. Her fluffy coat, perfect for cold weather, is a cream and red color.. Her coat is very soft and thick containing two layers and even though she lives alone in the wild now, still keeps it nice and neat the best she can. Her tail, very bushy, swings over itself in a fluffy curl. Tall pointy ears on top of her head are always alert for danger. Her cold black nose is very powerful and can easily sniff out rodents and other small animals for meals. Her legs are long and full of muscles, ready to bounce away at a moments notice. Apple is very quick and agile, obvious with her petite lithe form, weighing only about fifteen pounds. Even though she's tiny she packs a powerful arsenal of muscles hidden beneath the thick layers. Always she is seen wearing her pink scarf, a constant reminder of the loving family lost to her, and she finds it cute nonetheless.

Apple for the most part is a fearless girl. But its partly because she's still pretty young, still a little naive and overly confident and trusting. She gets excited easily, especially when fun things are happening and it causes her to miss important things that normally she would catch. To get into it bit further, Apple loves to have fun and enjoy the fact that she is, indeed, still pretty young. For the most part she is fairly independent and able to take care of herself and never expects anyone to help out, almost hates it when she needs help with anything. But even though she doesn't mind being on her own, she longs for permanent companionship, whether it be a mate or a friend, she can't stand being alone for long periods. Even though she likes to be clean, Apple doesn't mind, and often enjoys, rolling in puddles or mud but she never stays dirty long. Never get into an argument with Apple, you will not win, even if you are right. She's very stubborn and will not back down from what she believes in whether she has to use her words or teeth to get the point across. Do not be fooled by her size.
HISTORY:Apple was born into the world with a million and one blessings. Her parents were both great show dogs and she had the promise of a great one as well. Among her few other siblings, Apple was indeed the most active and independent, always running around and getting into things. She loved her family very much, her four other siblings and her parents but never hung around them much. A choice she would come to regret.
On the day she turned eight weeks, she was adopted by a lovely older couple who had all the wealth in the world, or at least it seemed that way to Apple. They had named her something else, but it was so long ago that Apple forgot what it was. It was quickly discovered that Apple didn't have the patience to be a show dog. Sure she was perfect in looks but the lovely older humans figured out she just couldn't sit still. So instead they gave her to their granddaughter as a Christmas present.
In this lovely, warm household, Apple grew, not a lot but enough. The little girl, seven at the time, renamed her Apple and they played together, going on adventures in their big backyard. Orchards filled the area on rolling hills. She remembered a barn and big creatures.. horses if she remembered correctly. They owned an apple orchard and a ranch, the family that is.
On their adventures, Apple was the trusty sidekick and always wore a pink scarf while the little girl wore a strange hat and carried a piece of glass that made things look bigger. Together they solved mysteries and had a grand old time. But that was so long ago now that Apple had forgotten the little girl's face and name.
All she had now was a rundown construction site and few mangy mutts who she called family. Apple had a hard time finding a place to call her own. She was too trusting and managed to get herself and some pretty hairy situations, no pun intended. But her spirit never broke and she always found a way out of it, never asking or receiving help that is until finally the Westwoods took her in, allowed her to live among them. She was, after all, a misfit and didn't mind living among broken human things, it helped quench the homesickness she felt now and again.
Without being discouraged by the things she's missing from her past, Apple looks to the future, hoping to find a place to be accepted fully and someone who can see passed her youth to understand she's trying to make the best of a bad situation.
