Monster's paws lightly touched the ground as he trotted along the streets that were once suburbia. Homes that were immaculately kept, now stood in shambles and ruins. Paint peeled off the sides and cars even sat dusty and abandoned.
He paused, sniffing the air for a moment. The air smelled of the typical weather for this time of day. Flowers and blossoms bloomed and other canines have passed through here recently, but not that recently. Stale scents hit his nose as he snuffled along the ground.
His tail waved behind him as he continued on his way, shoulders easily rolling with each step. The soft breeze caught his fur, ruffling it. Monster hadn't met anyone interesting lately and he was beginning to wonder about that. His ears twitched, picking up the sounds of the chirping birds and other familiar nature noises.
Monster turned the corner and began heading down the other block. He was out for exploring, but had no real motive to try and track down his human family. After they abandoned him, he'd adopted the care free attitude and was now just worrying about himself. His ex-mate, was a different story. He wanted answers. He wanted an explanation as to why she decided to leave him.
Perhaps he'd never get that response, but he would try that was for sure. He paused and tucked his hindquarters into a sitting position, letting his forelegs keep his upper body erect. He sat there, watching the birds take flight.

{ i can hear it; } {S L A W T E R } } I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING; THE VOICES IN THE WIND, AND THE TERROR IN YOUR VEINS !
Birds where a strange concept, to the large dog. She envied them, though she would never admit it- However, she also thought they were disgusting and a less being. Flight would be exhilerating, she might admit. Flight would also be terrifiying and so unnatural. She was a creature of the earth, not of the sky. And by being a land mammal, she felt not only obligated to the earth but she felt it owed her. She blessed the world with her prescence; That was the way her mind worked. She might as well be goddess here. What else was more fitting?
Her eyes grazed her surroundings, with a dazed hunger. Though others might find it repulsive, disgusting even, it appealed greatly to Slawter's tainted mind. The rotting picket fences, the brown dead grass. The crumbling buildings, slowing dying. Like a needle through a bug- No matter which way it went, death was inevietible. It was unavoidable; No matter how hard, how careful, no matter what, you'd rip yourself open and your insides would rot into the ground. A disturbing thought... Yet a beautiful one.
Slawter watched the birds for a moment before making a gurgle noise, shaking her head. Her tall legs carried her with a prideful swag, her chest revealing most of the hubris. When she turned a corner, she saw a german shepherd dog simply sitting, watching the birds in the sky. She smiled cruelly, her teeth poking from her lips. "Such a disgusting breed, birds. How could the gods have let something to hideous in a world full of so much beauty?" Slawter spoke, her voice low and seductive; She was a sinner of debauchery, it was her favorite sin. Though she had no intention of mating anyone, ever, she loved a little flirting. She got pleasure from the pain or pleasure inflicted; She always won. It was common knowledge;
She did indeed put the 'laughter' in manslaughter.

Monster looke up and saw the female approaching him. She had said about how birds are disgusting. He had to admit. They were. He nodded and grinned at her.
"I completely agree" he said. "they are disgusting creatures. I don't know why they were created in the first place. Would be better off had they not been."
He stretched lazily and languidly enjoying the feeling of his body as he stretched.
"I'm Monster. What might your name be?" he implied curiously tilting his head to the side curiously.
He hadn't met many new dogs lately, so he was hoping to gain some new friends at least. He only hoped that the dogs he met weren't aggressive. Don't get him wrong, he could handle himself without any problem...he just prefered NOT to get started for that matter in the first place.
Both ears were pricked, acoustics picking up the females words eagerly. She seemed okay, but he couldn't be too sure just yet. Looks tend to be decieving. He learned a long time ago not to trust his eyes and more so his instincts. His tail wrapped around his back legs as he sat patiently waiting for her response.
Monster didn't know where his family was at this point, but he knew they were somewhere around here. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to find them.

Slawter smirked immediately at this males reaction, for they would get along rather well indeed. She storde toward him with a prideful swagger, her teeth bared in what appeared to be a flirtatious, yet cruel all the same. It's intentions were unholy and impure, yet only her. Not only was it simply her, it defined her, whom she was. She was sexy, and prideful. She was also demonic, and that should never leave her mind, nor her victims. Perhaps they were created to serve," Slawter pondered, looking up at them flying away, sneering at them all.
Slawter watched as the male, who called himself Monster, stretched and sat up. Slawter eyed him with curiosity. "Monster? Would you say its a... Fitting name?"
Slawter cooed to him, raising a white brow. He was a shepherd dog, she noticed right away. They were abundant in these places, she noticed. Where were all the dogs of her breed, or even a similar one? Someday she would have to let her breed be more populated. "My calling is Slawter... Ask any who claims they know me, whether they do or not you might find it quite accurate." Slawter nodded, her eyes narrowing as her lips pulled back into the smile. That alone used to strike fear into the hearts of others. However, for now, perhaps, she might benefit from allies. Her old ways would prevail someday, though. That, the mistress was certain of.
