There was nothing like sinking his teeth into the flesh of the living. It excited him to think that this place held more lives to shed, more relationships to sever, and more fun. His blood stained muzzle felt wet as he pushed himself off the limp deer carcass. He had crunched its bones, loving the snap as it rang in his ears. His ivories dripped red swirling saliva, the life essence of the doe's veins coursing within him. Oh, how he loved it.
It was by pure chance he found the doe in an underground train station. It was true that they roamed everywhere now that the humans were gone, but underground? It came as a slight surprise. None the less, he liked it. The darkness that encased him was enjoyable, he felt like he was walking into nothingness. It was quite soothing, to walk in this new found darkness. Of course, Dysis's vision was 20/20, and doubled to be a canine, but yet it still clouded his sight in the slightest.
His unsteady lopes sounded about him, the gentle thud of his pads echoing off the subway walls. He stopped, raising his snout in the air while looking around diligently with blue orbs, his twin peaks perked and alert. He felt the air shift, and his teeth numbed with anticipation. What would be down at the end of this tunnel? He galloped forward, his pace steady. He had yet to figure out what thay scent was.

Monty jerked around his head real quick, letting a itch irritate the back of his neck. Something had just suck it's little parasite fangs into him, seeing as how he had a constant itch all this morning. His ears flopped back and forth, letting a sound echo to the down below. The sound flowing into the lower level darkness with ease.
Squinting his dark brown eyes, he couldn't see much thanks to the cloud infested skies anyways. However Monty hadn't had any specific tasks or anything assigned to him lately, so boredom was leading to pointless curiosity. The day was young and the skies reeked of humidity that would soon lead to rain. Gray clouds scattered the horizon, once again promising rain. Freezing rain at that, which Monty didn't really want to feel against his thin fur right then and now. So exploring a underground area and escaping the cool rain seemed like a good idea.
Only he was wrong. Only a few paces into the darkness, some drain lights here and there, and Monty smelled the fresh blood with the scent of a loner near by. Fear wasn't gripping him, however he slowed down his pace and allowed silence to creep in as he took in the sounds of paws quickly approaching. There was only a light between them, but at the second they were both hidden by the shadows.
Before the other emerged, he continued forward a bit. "Aye aye, I come in peace." He announced in a too enthusiastic way. A lopsided grin covering his features. Monty wasn't sure where he stood with loners, but he could smell the loner on this one, that and the fresh blood from his prior meal? In the end all Monty cared about was not being his next.
ooc;; whew still trying to get used to monty xD

Whether the other dog could see him or not, he couldn't tell. It didn't matter. When the dog spoke, it was an interesting sentence. Dysis was, in the slightest, amused by his energetic voice. By the projectory, Dy could tell the stranger was smaller than him. A small smirk played his maw when he stepped blatantly into into the small light.
"In piece?" if dogs had eye brows, Dy's would have bean raised in question. He glared harder into the blank tunnel, and he could faintly see the outline of his new acquaintance. His scent finally reached Dys nose full on, and the musky smell of rain on pavement, followed by the thundering pa dumps above the subway. It soothed his mind, lessening his ambitiousness.
"You have an odd way of begging for mercy." Dysis said in an entertained tone. His competitor might make it out alive, or he could say something back that would whip his day around. Who knew.
ooc;; He's so cute .3.

This loner had a large voice, that probably filled large paws. Monty wasn't the brightest of dogs out there, but he knew he could be stepping boundaries. It was quite literally a dog eat dog world out here anymore. Hence packs were formed for protection and rights. However the left the loners with no rules or morals to follow. Leaving Monty on a rougher slate than he realized.
"You have an odd way of begging for mercy."
Greaaaaat, thought Monty. Dealing with some large breed who got a kick out of their twisted words. He closed his eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath, smile still in tact. This other dog could see him more clearly now, the outline of a rough and tough bull terrier, his white fur coloring his outline in certain spots. Granted, Monty was focusing more into the darkness to see the slightest of outlines to a large long haired breed, feet taller than himself.
"I do not beg, never have and certainly not to the likes of you."
The words left Monty's mouth without a second thought. He had a pretty good habit of doing so. Letting his cocky words spurt all over the place, wreaking havoc more than often. Considering the situation. Monty let his eyes glance around the area, finding himself glancing back to those glowing eyes. Yet he kept himself calm, deciding not to get worked up until something dire came up.

His saliva dripped down onto the cement where he stood, and he took a long look at the dog. "You're a strange dog." Dy stated bluntly. It wasn't really in his nature to sugar coat things.
The husky colored dog sneered once he had an eyeful, and his throat vibrated with a low warning growl. His jaw was tense and sore, so he popped it once, the sound echoing through the tunnel.
He had traveled many places, meeting new dogs and new customs. Though this was quite the treat. He had never had such a pleasant conversation with an opponent before. Whether it was due to his good luck or the fact the rain consoled him, he didn't know.

"You're a strange dog."
He could hear a strangled growl growing with tension as the seconds passed. Monty shifted his weight on his legs, his large chest heaving with curiosity. He was slowly grasping the idea that he was in fact no in the best of situations, but he kept his head up either way. This other cracked, what Monty figured, was a bone, perhaps the jaw. Either way he found himself practically on his toes cringing from the sound echoing across the tunnel walls.
"I'm the strange one? Ha, but you seem to be the one to have nothing better to do but pick on those who are not your own size." Monty snickered to himself a bit. Just knowing he was the lower half in this game, but his heart told him else. He could have fun if he wanted, and that was what he intended to do here. He had nothing better to do, eh?
ooc; sorry for the late reply! college started back up so I was like, freaking out <3
